A great place to while away the afternoon, watching the sun set on some of the Coast’s most beautiful beaches, the region’s surf clubs are a fantastic option for families. Good food at great prices and kids’ rooms make for easy dining for Mum and Dad. Here are our pick of the best family friendly clubs on the Coast.

Alexandra Headland Surf Life Saving Club

167 Alexandra Parade, Alexandra Headland

Alexandra Headland has recently undergone an extensive refurb and the outside bar area is one of the prettiest spots on the coast. Upstairs there is a kids’ corner with computer games, whack-a-frog, and funny mirrors.

Dicky Beach Surf Club

Mets on Kings – The Caloundra Surf Club

1 Spender Lane, Caloundra

The best bit about the recently refurbished Mets on Kings is the beautiful Pavilion kiosk. Housed in a heritage listed building, the cute little café serves good coffee and treats, overlooks the pool at Kings Beach and has a lovely little corner for the kids. Or head into the main club for a good kids menu and great views.
