Entries are now open to artists, both young and old, for the 39th Immanuel Arts Festival.
Running from 23 to 26 May 2019, the Festival is a popular and well-known event on the Coast’s cultural calendar.
The Festival is an opportunity for artists – including students – to showcase their talent and increase their public profile; from emerging to established artists, all are welcome and are encouraged to enter.
This year’s feature artists who will showcase their work are: printmaker Owen Hutchison; animal and landscape artist Rachael Curry; and artist, illustrator, author and motivational speaker, Peter Rowe.
“The student section is always incredibly popular,” said Convenor Ms Samantha Moor. “Hosted by Immanuel Lutheran College’s Parents and Friends Community, the student section is open to young artists from Prep to Year 12 from any school,” she said.
“An entry fee of $10 for one piece, or $15 for two or three pieces in the Sunshine Coast School Student Category, is paid by all student entrants, and prizes awarded are cash and vouchers,” said Ms Moor.
Conditions of entry and entry forms are available at immanuelartsfestival.com.au
Student entries close on 12 April.
