An exciting new baby show and exhibition is coming to the Sunshine Coast, raising awareness about perinatal anxiety and depression ahead of National PANDA week (Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Australia).
By combining a baby show and an exhibition, the skilled team behind Fleur de Lys Events aims to deliver an event that will inspire and connect new mums, whilst also providing a compendium of local baby products and services for both parents and bubs.
“Our show intends to raise awareness for PANDA,” explained Jacqueline Graham, founder and event planner at Fleur de Lys Events, “and 20 per cent of all entrant registration fees will be donated to this worthwhile cause.”
Suicide is the leading cause of death in new mothers during the first year of parenthood and PANDA Week 2019 is all about having that conversation, asking: ‘Are you alright?”
“For some, parenthood can be a lonely and isolating time and this event has been created to make a fun day out for both children and parents,” Jacqueline continued. “There will be children’s entertainment and raffles on the day. Both parents and children will meet like-minded people, and have the chance to make new friends, win prizes and, above all, have a great day out!”
The Baby Beautiful Show and Exhibition will be at Venue 114, Bokarina on 7th November.
