Expanding now to five locations across Brisbane, ASPAFTV is quickly becoming Brisbane’s most respected Performing Arts and Film Production School for young people. We believe students thrive in a positive and nurturing environment and the best way to learn is through doing! Our courses are designed especially around this concept and produce amazing results at our quarterly End of Term Theatre Performance and real life Film Shoots!
Kids Drama Classes
The Australian School of Performing Arts, Film and Television offers courses for those interested in building confidence, making new friends and having fun whilst also catering to those students who wish to have a career in Theatre, Film and Television. With courses in Creative Theatre Production and the infamous holiday workshops, the dream for ASPAFTV is that it is everybody’s favourite place to be.
Actor Training (Ages 7 - 17 years)
One of the most important things any aspiring or seasoned actor can do is to learn and continue to practice their craft. Most successful actors were not “discovered” walking down the street nor were they necessarily overnight successes. The truth is they trained hard to earn their place on our stages and screens. Actor training is perfect for the student who is starting out, but also for the student who is seeking to polish their skills or re-enter the acting industry.
Creative Theatre Production
Over the course of the term students will write, produce and act in their very own theatre production. At the end of term students will perform in front of family and friends at the Brisbane Powerhouse. This is a fantastic experience with the added excitement of microphones, stage lighting and audio cues! This course is great for students who have had some previous training or those looking to get into their first acting class. Grading is offered in this course. Grading and personal recommendation from the Course Director is ASPAFTV’s pathway to agency representation for those interested in auditions and working in the industry.
