In recognition of NAIDOC Week (7-14 Jul 2024), renowned weaver Claire Felicia Agale leads this very special workshop where you will learn about the twining method of weaving.
The technique you’ll be using is an adaptation of the weaving style drawn from Claire’s Torres Strait Island heritage & family connections in the Northern Territory. Claire has adapted this specialist technique to make the workshop open to both beginner weavers as well as those looking to build on their existing skills.
Suitable for ages 5-16 years.
