Clean Up for the Hatchlings 2025

Clean up for the Hatchlings is a FREE event run by Sunshine Coast Council in collaboration with TurtleCare Sunshine Coast, ReefCheck Australia and SeaLife Trust, inspiring the community to come together to help clean up Sunshine Coast beaches in preparation for the hatchling turtles.
6am – 7.30am
Beach clean ups at various location from Coolum to North Bribie Island.
8am – 11am
Thank you celebration at Coopers Lookout Park on the south side of the Kawana Surf Club.
Listen to guest speakers and enjoy a free BBQ. There will be children’s activities plus much more!
