About the Event

Ever wondered what it would be like to spend a night in Boggo Road Gaol, what Kangaroo Point has to do with kangaroos, or what went on at your Nan’s place during the Second World War?

Find out at Museum of Brisbane’s next major exhibition, The Storytellers, which uncovers Brisbane’s histories, myths and tales through fact, fiction, interpretation and creative narrative as told by nine of the city’s top wordsmiths.

Keep an eye out for these free family activities while you’re there:

Lungfish Activity:  Follow the lungfish through the exhibition, you’ll be able to collect pages of a story to take home.  This family friendly story also doubles as a colouring-in activity!

Code Breaker Activity: We need your help to escape from Boggo Road Gaol!  Inside the free exhibition guide for The Storytellers is a code breaker challenge for the whole family.  See if you can escape in time!
