Discover the incredible gifts of our edible Australian native plants at Boondall Wetlands Reserve.
Join the environment centre staff on a short guided tour along the Tulla-yugaipa dhagun track (place of useful plants). This walk will showcase edible plants used by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, as well as by colonial settlers, along with some surprising uses.
After the walk, join a short tasting session where you can try some foods prepared using native plants and find out more about some of the ‘bush food’ native plants suitable for backyards and balconies in Brisbane.
Suitable for ages 6+.
