Artventure - Kids Art Lessons Online

Time: 9:00 am

Every child needs art to develop to their full potential. Studies show that there is a correlation between art and other achievements.

A report by Americans for the Arts says “young people who participate regularly in the arts are four times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement, to participate in a math and science fair or to win an award for writing an essay or poem than children who do not participate in the arts”.

But involving your kids in art can be a difficult task, where do you start?

Artventure provides everything you’ll need to grow your children’s skills and confidence in art.

Simply choose an artwork, watch how it’s created and then follow along step-by-step or use the lesson as inspiration to create your own artwork!

Some people think that by showing our kids how to draw, we take away their creativity.

In fact, the opposite is true and Abigal (from Queensland, Australia) summed it up perfectly when she wrote: “My daughter said she ‘could not draw’ but after doing Artventure lessons her drawing ability has vastly improved. She now says she ‘is a great artist!’ and she will now freehand her own drawings, artwork and paintings. So it seems that learning how to draw via your lessons has sparked her own individual creativity, which is brilliant!”
