DESCRIPTION:Sunshine Coast Council is supporting four fireworks displays at three locations this New Year’s Eve – Coolum at 8.30pm\, Caloundra at 9.30pm and Mooloolaba at 8.30pm and midnight. \nDue to the Mooloolaba revitalisation project construction works along Mooloolaba Esplanade\, the 8.30pm and midnight fireworks displays will be fired from an offshore barge in front of the HMAS Brisbane Lookout. \nYou can enjoy great views from Maroochydore Beach in the north\, to Point Cartwright in the south and Council is encouraging visitors to choose their own adventure. \nPack a picnic to enjoy the display along the coastline\, or book into your favourite restaurant or cruise. \nThere will be light family friendly entertainment and roving performers at the HMAS Brisbane Lookout\, Northern Parklands and along Beach Terrace from 5pm – midnight. \nFood Trucks will be located at HMAS lookout\, Beach Terrace and Mooloolaba Esplanade. \nFIND OUT MORE
