DESCRIPTION:Buderim Community Carols invites Sunshine Coast families to share the Christmas spirit on Sunday 14 December 2025. \nThis year’s event\, presented by the Buderim War Memorial Community Association (BWMCA) with the support of Buderim Bendigo Community Bank\, will be held on Sunday 14 December 2025\, from 5.30pm\, at the Buderim Village Park\, Church Street\, Buderim. The BWMCA Carols Committee has been working for months planning the event\, which promises to be the best yet. \nThis year’s program would feature performers from Cope Creative\, Buderim Youth Theatre\, Musical Theatre Holiday Intensive\, Elite Dance Institute and 13 Ticks. \nFood and refreshments available for purchase will include a sausage sizzle from the Buderim Scout Group\, hamburgers from the Buderim Rotary Club\, hot dogs from the Buderim Lions Club\, fairy floss from the Buderim Foundation and popcorn from Magnolia Health. These volunteer organisations will be raising funds for their local charities. \nEntry to Carols is by gold coin donation\, and Candlelite candles and other fun products will also be available for\npurchase\, \nParking close to the Buderim Village Park is available at the Buderim Mountain State School\, Main Street\, Buderim and will be operated by Buderim Lions. $2 donation on entry. \nFIND OUT MORE

The workshop is a relaxed retreat: a space to explore\, make\, imagine\, and let things take shape. \nMonday\, Dec 15\, Tuesday\, Dec 16th – 9:30 am – 1:30 pm – Ages 8-12 years \nThursday\, Dec 18\, Friday\, Dec 19 – 9:30 am – 1:30 pm – Ages 13-17 years \nOptions for busy parents to add an 8:30 am start on both days to the booking. \nGLÓR Project Space is an independent artist-run music studio in the Old Ambulance Station building in Nambour. Access to the studio will be emailed upon booking. \nPatricia McInerney will lead this two-day immersion. \nPatricia McInerney is a multidisciplinary creative and experienced educator who brings music\, storytelling\, and playful imagination into every workshop she leads. You’ll get to peer into the water from above the Ocean Tunnel\, getting a completely different perspective and a better idea of how big some of the sharks really are. If you’re lucky\, your tour guide may even give you a few pieces of food to throw in to the hungry sharks! \nAs part of your stay at the aquarium\, SEA Life Sunshine Coast will also treat you and your family to an exclusive seal presentation with their beautiful resident seals at Seal Island.
