**Due to recent flooding events in Brisbane, it is with great sadness that Queensland Museum Network has announced the cancellation of all in-person World Science Festival Brisbane events and the postponement of Curiocity Brisbane 2022.
However, there is a little good news! Queensland Museum Network and their partners are committed to bringing the wonder of science to Queensland and will offer a virtual program of events and activities throughout March to inspire and entertain.

This March Brisbane will be the City of Science in a city-wide, free five-day science extravaganza as part of World Science Festival Brisbane.
It’s a non-stop, action packed program. Take part in hands-on workshops, science storytelling and audio tours. Learn how to up-cycle your old electronics or create a living laboratory in your backyard. City of Science is for the whole family to discover the fun of science.

Lunchtime Labs
Don’t eat lunch at your desk during World Science Festival Brisbane! Head to the Queen Street Mall at 12pm each day and get smarter while you take a break.
Lunchtime Labs will feature Festival favourite, Dr Karl Kruszelnicki, bringing you explosive science, teaching you how to juggle and giving you an excuse to dance. All in the name of science!
Libratoriums
Over five days, five libraries will feature five popular strands of science, bringing together storytelling and science. Immerse yourself in the eight-legged world of spiders, scorpions and other arachnids; delve into the fascinating world of Australia’s native snails; and learn about the First Scientists and Indigenous Knowledge Systems.

Digi Dino Discovery Trail
Ever wondered what a dinosaur would look like stomping through the Arbour at South Bank Parklands?
Follow in the footsteps of the prehistoric creatures that roamed Australia millions of years ago. Find QR codes dotted throughout City of Science and go on an exciting journey of digital dinosaur discovery.
