YEAHYEAHCHLOE (Chloe Bennett) is a Korean-born visual artist based in Queensland, Australia. Her work holds a bold aesthetic, using clean lines and flat colours that are reminiscent of the 90s cartoons from her childhood.
She explores the idea of connection and belonging through her work. YEAHEYEAHCHLOE is interested in how we are intimately entwined with the objects around us — how they connect us to time, place, and people, both past and present. Her artworks play with both the nostalgic associations we hold and the new memories and interactions we experience. It allows her viewers to bring a piece of themselves to the work.
YEAHEYEAHCHLOE has exhibited internationally working with galleries throughout Australia, United States, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, China, and the United Kingdom. She has collaborated with various international companies including Google and Nike and currently serves on the HOTA Youth Advisory Group.
