Welcome to the new ethical swap market at Morena, hosted together with Of the Walls Interior Design.
We all have clothes that are in great condition, but we just don’t seem to wear them anymore. Maybe because we don’t feel the vibe, maybe it doesn’t fit, or maybe you bought it and never wore it. We also have household items or little treasures like frames, cushions, vases, art prints, plants and heaps more that don’t go with the new house you just moved in, or we changed our whole home décor, and they are also in great condition…
Morena decided to combine the successful Clothes Swap with a NEW Ethical Swap Market… a clothes and home treasures swap.
1. Pay $10 to participate.
2. Morena gives you 10 tokens on the day.
3. Bring up to 10 pre-loved clothes or home décor items
4. Use those tokens to ‘pay’ for your ‘new’ item.
All un-swapped clothes will be sent to @upparelofficial to give those clothes a second chance and save them from going to landfill.
There will also be live music, food, coffee, cocktails and beers to keep the good vibes flowing!
Upparel raffle ticket.
Morena (coffee) raffle ticket.
Of The Walls (interior design) raffle ticket.
This helps cover the postage fees to send all unwanted clothes and shoes to be repurposed at Upapparel.
And if you buy the ticket in advance through @humanitix you will be supporting “A better start for disadvantaged Indigenous students” program.
*Once you arrive, you will have to do a “check in” with the organisers so they can receive and check the items you bring. If they don’t match with the descriptions we’ve mentioned, they won’t accept them. If you have questions of what to bring, please feel free to email [email protected] or message them on Instagram/Facebook @morena.espresso.
**Swap market entrance will be thought the car park at the back of Morena. The event will be held there. If it rains, the event will be moved inside of the café.
