Parents researching a quality education on the Sunshine Coast are invited to visit Matthew Flinders Anglican College for its Secondary School Discovery Tours on Wednesday, 8 September
Flinders Principal Stuart Meade said the College was experiencing high demand for enrolments as a growing number of families from Brisbane, interstate and overseas were choosing to relocate to the Sunshine Coast.
Located in Buderim, the College is regarded as one of Queensland’s top independent schools for students from Prep to Year 12.
“Parents are seeking a quality education for their children – now more than ever,” Mr Meade said.
“The pandemic has revealed just how important an innovative, adaptable and caring school environment is for young people’s learning and wellbeing,” he said.
“Our Discovery Tours are a chance for families to experience firsthand the passion for teaching and learning, as well as rich co-curricular opportunities, that we nurture every day at Flinders.”
Flinders invites families to tour either the Middle School (Years 7-9) or the Senior School (Years 10-12). Two tour times are available (9:15am and 11:45am) for each tour.
Guests will explore the 22-hectare campus’ learning, sporting and creative arts facilities, and along the way meet Heads of School, staff and students.
At the tour’s conclusion, guests will be invited to a coffee catch-up with the Admissions Team and some of the College parents to learn about the day-to-day practicalities of starting a new schooling journey at Flinders.
Included in the Middle School tour is a walk-through of the impressive new Year 7 Precinct, completed in August 2020 as part of the Flinders Masterplan.
Tour places are limited and bookings are open now at www.mfac.edu.au
