It is a day of cultural pride\, identity\, community and connection\, and this special inaugural event brings that spirit to the Sunshine Coast. \nEveryone is welcome — including the wider Sunshine Coast community\, the broader Pacific Islands community\, members of the Fijian diaspora including iTaukei and Indo-Fijian communities\, PALM workers and their families\, and anyone who would like to experience and celebrate Fijian culture. \nThe day will include: \n10:00 AM – 4:00 PM\nMarket stalls\, food vendors and community connection throughout the day. \n11:00 AM\nOfficial Opening Ceremony\nThis special seated ceremony will officially launch the day with cultural significance and community spirit\, including ceremonial moments\, national anthems\, and addresses from invited dignitaries and community representatives.  The Official Opening Ceremony is free but ticketed\, with tickets to be made available via Humanitix. DESCRIPTION:Cowboys & Country is a western festival at Historic Rivermill\, on the banks of the Coomera River at Mount Nathan in the Gold Coast Hinterland. It runs on selected Saturdays through the year. \nThe day brings a whip-cracking show\, line dancing\, country music\, and market stalls from local growers and makers\, across the gardens and paddocks. \nIt makes an easy day out\, whether you come on your own\, with friends\, as a couple\, or with the family. Half an hour from central Gold Coast\, an hour from Brisbane\, and forty-five minutes from Logan or Tweed Heads\, at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. \nJoin the line dancing\, take a turn on the bull\, feed the alpacas and the turtles\, ride a horse\, and browse the market stalls.
