Head to The Workshops Rail Museum at Ipswich for a celebration of all things aviation, rail and automotive.
Enjoy a range of amazing ground displays and aviation-themed activities. In the air, you will see aerial formation fly pasts, a helicopter low pass and aerobatic displays featuring historic warbirds.
History comes alive with hands-on exhibits, huge locomotives and industrial machinery on display. Join a walking tour at Australia’s oldest railway workshop still in operation.
You’ll also see motorcycles through the ages, muscle cars, emergency vehicles, Defence Force machinery, drag cars and more. There will be a motorbike stunt show and more at this action-packed event!
The Nippers Railway adventure playground, interactive displays and hands-on activities at the Sciencentre and Hot Wheels Fun Zone will have kids spoilt for choice!
Special guests include Autobots, Bumblebee, Optimus Prime and action sports athlete Matt Mingay. Get your photo taken!
Planes, Trains and Autos will be held at The Workshops Rail Museum on April 30 from 9am to 4pm.
Child (3–15 years): $5
Family (2 adults + 3 children): $20
Children under 3, but require a ticket.
Museum Members are also free, just show your Annual Pass card at the gate.

Coinciding with the Planes, Trains and Autos event is the Queensland Auto Spectacular on Sunday, May 1 at Willowbank Raceway.
There will be a Swap Meet, Show & Shine, Car Club displays and Test and Tune.
For kids, there is the opportunity to design and create their own racer to test at the track. A range of interactive workshops and displays will keep kids busy, while the amusement arena offers great rides and face painting, which is sure to keep them entertained.
