1pm & 5pm
Two amazing mums, one an author and one an aerials coach, have collaborated on this masterpiece of a production. Rise Up – Aerials Extravaganza, performed by the talented staff and students of local studio AerialCatz, founded by Ash O’Brien. The show is inspired by Annie Ant’s Awareness; a beautiful children’s book written by a local author Samantha Starshine.
The story follows Annie on her journey from anger to bliss as she learns through experience to understand the connection between her thoughts, feelings and actions. A first step to developing social and emotional intelligence while also building individual and family connectedness and resilience. Something we all need in current times.
It all starts with awareness!
The message reminds us that we do have the power to change the way we perceive the world and engage with our inner world. It is a reminder to each of us that our feelings of stress, anxiety and sadness are valid, but we are strong, we are capable, and we can rise up and overcome our struggles and challenges to create a life we love to live.
Through a beautiful combination of storytelling, music and apparatus – silks, Lyra, trapeze, combination – this show will move and inspire the audience on many levels; physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
You are invited to come along on Saturday the 13th of November to share this important and beautiful message of light, love and resilience.
Come and support these amazing students, there will be plenty of seats available, popcorn and a snack bar, so bring the family along!
The show is held at the Suncoast Christian College on the corner of Schubert Rd & Kiel Mountain Rd, Woombye, QLD, 4559.
There are two shows that run for 1.5 hours each, starting with the matinee show held at 1pm and the evening show to start at 5pm. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the start of each show.
