Ignite your imagination in SparkLab, an interactive science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) space, ideal for 6 to 13 year olds!
Follow your curiosity and bring out your inner scientist as you question, investigate and wonder about the world around you.
Explore the interactive exhibits* across three zones and discover how STEM affects your everyday world.
See live experiments at the Science Bar and get hands on at the Maker Space, designing and creating a solution to a challenging question.
*Please note: a small number of high-touch exhibits within SparkLab might be unavailable to ensure the health and safety of all visitors, staff and volunteers.
SparkLab is open daily from 9:40am to 4pm with session times at:
Morning sessions (all morning sessions end at 12:30pm)
9:40am, 10:30am, 11:00am and 11:30am
Afternoon sessions (all afternoon sessions end at 4pm)
1:00pm, 1:30pm, 2:00pm, 2:30pm and 3:00pm

Tanya is mum to two teenage girls and is the Production Manager for Kids on the Coast/ Kids in the City. She has experience working in the print & digital publishing industry for a number of years with skills in keeping the production schedule organised, social media and website design. When not being taxi-Mum to her girls, Tanya enjoys camping, reading, digital scrapbooking and boating.
