Queensland Air Museum operates under the vision statement "Preserving Australia's Aviation Heritage"
For the past 45 years we collect,. restore, display historically significant aircraft and a range of other aviation related displays.
Now, with more than 80 aircraft on display, ownership of almost 100 (those not on display are awaiting restoration} and several more currently under assessment by the acquisition team, we are Australia's largest display of historic aircraft.
Open every day from 10am - 4pm and after hours by arrangement, QAM also operates Group Tours for groups of 12 or more, hosts Cocktail Parties, Corporate Events, Dances and has Special events every 3 months. Open Cockpit Weekend is in July each year.
We also have a large range of aviation models and souvenirs for sale through our shop. Coffee, cold drinks and ice-creams also for sale. Visitors are welcome to self-cater.
