One-on-One Art Therapy

Individual Art Therapy is a form of expressive therapy that integrates psychotherapeutic techniques with the creative process of art making to improve a persons physical, mental and emotional well-being. Sessions begin with talking to the therapist about why you want to find help, and learning what the therapist has to offer.

The techniques used opens up avenues of communication that extend beyond verbal language exploring thoughts and feelings not spoken about. This process leads to insight and discovery.

By unlocking the power of the subconscious mind, the client learns how to change limiting patterns and beliefs. This increases happiness, helps manage emotions and reduces stress and heals emotional pain.

Individual art therapy sessions can range from one to two hours.

Art Therapy helps children, adolescents and adults explore their emotions, improve self-esteem, manage addictions, relieve stress, improve symptoms of anxiety and depression and cope with a physical illness or a disability
