Australia’s LARGEST high ropes course is opening on the Sunshine Coast!

Next Level high ropes course is now open at Sunshine Plaza and we couldn’t be more excited!

As Australia’s largest high ropes course, the park includes seven different high ropes circuits categorised across four levels of difficulty. Budding ninja warriors can test their skills through over 145 aerial challenges including 16 ziplines stretching up to 135 metres over Cornmeal Creek.

TreeTops Adventure Group CEO Nicolas Dansin said the much-anticipated high ropes course will provide an opportunity for those wanting to test their skills and challenge their limits as they scale the obstacles and fly the ziplines over Cornmeal Creek in Maroochydore.

“There is something for every level of participant, starting from the age of six and ranging up through all ages and skills to the most capable climbers, who will enjoy the challenge of the three most difficult courses which reach up to 18 metres above the ground.”

“It’s our first ever urban outdoor ropes course, but excitingly we’re also able to bring everyone a little closer to nature with our ziplines flying climbers over the creek! Also, being located at the Sunshine Plaza means that anyone can enjoy a full day of adventure.”

As well as the challenging circuits, there are plenty of lower options for families to climb together.

“Our circuits range from low easy 5-metre circuits up to adrenaline pumping 18-metre ones. Circuit access is available for climbers aged 6 years and over. The higher you climb, the more challenging it becomes. The one thing to keep in mind is that we do have some age limits for the higher circuits.”

What will the kids love most about the high ropes course?

“Ziplines! It seems to be the most popular aerial challenge within the full circuit that we hear people love the most! Who doesn’t want to fly, right? We hope that they’ll also be excited by the fact that there is a range of difficulty for them to aspire to, so as they conquer each circuit, it pushes them to come back and go onto the next level!”

If climbing is not for you, then take in the sights and enjoy the expansive 360º views of the Sunshine Coast from the 22-metre high Viewing Deck above the circuits.
