Now you can track family vaccinations with the new government VacciDate app #makinglifeeasy

If you’re anything like us in the KOTC/KITC office, family admin is out of control!

But there is one area that we do try to be on top of, and that is our children’s health commitments. However, a little help in this department wouldn’t go astray.

For example, when it comes to immunisations, wouldn’t it be good to understand exactly what they each were and when they were due?

Cue: the latest app from the Queensland government, VacciDate, a tool to help manage kids’ vaccination schedules for children up to 4 years of age.

So, how does it work?

VacciDate allows you to:

  • enter a profile for each child in your family
  • enter appointment dates for vaccinations
  • receive reminders at 1 month, 1 week, 1 day and 1 hour before the next vaccination is due or next appointment is scheduled
  • store a record of vaccinations received for each child
  • share the app on Facebook.

VacciDate can even send appointment information to your personal calendar and provides access to the VacciDate website containing information about upcoming vaccinations.

Neat, hey? So, you will never have to wonder/guess/research what it is you are supposed to be doing immunisation-wise again. It’s all there for you – for each child you have. Too easy (and we LOVE anything that makes life easy!).

Do you immunise your children? Would this help you?
