How nude is your food? Miami State School is leading the way with their Nude Food initiative. Nude Food is all about trying to reduce the overall amount of waste the school produces and creating rubbish free lunchboxes by eliminating things such as plastic wrap, aluminium foil and sandwich bags.

The school encourages students to
bring food in containers, lunchboxes
with separate compartments or anything with a natural wrapping such as banana’s and oranges.

The Nude Food Coordinator at Miami says the children and parents are all getting on board and are extremely supportive of the nude food movement.

The goal is to have 100 per cent nude food at the school.

To further encourage the students, there is a weekly competition within the school to promote nude food and the class who has the most amount of nude food in their lunchboxes with the least amount
of rubbish wins the nude food trophy.
