This grain and nut free cereal is way better than any cereal you are going to buy off the shelf. It’s easy to make, has no hidden nasties and is refined sugar free.
The quinoa flakes are packed with protein and so are a good start to the day. You could always add extra nuts and seeds if you prefer, but this is a great alternative for people who are coeliac and who have nut allergies.
I usually add a chopped banana or a couple of berries to serve. It’s delicious!
Preheat oven to 175 degrees.
Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Place all ingredients into a medium sized bowl and mix well.
Spread mixture out evenly over the tray and bake for 10 mins.
Remove from oven and gently stir mixture and then bake for a further 6 mins.
Once cooked allow to cool before placing in an airtight container and store in the cupboard.
