Kale Chips

These kale chips make the best snacks.  They’re so crispy, a bit salty, loaded with good fats which makes them super healthy and better than any chip you will buy.  Get the kids involved in cooking them and I am sure they will love them!  They don't last long in my house that's for sure.

Ingredients

  • 300g kale
  • 1 tbs coconut oil melted
  • 1 tbs tamari or soy sauce

Let’s put it all together

Preheat oven to 120 degrees

Line two baking trays with baking paper.  

Wash the kale thoroughly and pat dry.  

Remove and discard the tough middle vein from the kale leaves, then cut the leaves into smaller pieces.

In a large bowl, toss the kale with the coconut oil and the tamari.  

Place the kale on the trays in a single layer, do not overcrowd.  

Roast in the oven until crispy, about 35-40 mins.  

Serve and eat straight away.
