School Profile: St John Fisher College Bracken Ridge

St John Fisher College LogoSt John Fisher College has a holistic approach to education promoting your daughter’s spiritual, social, emotional and physical growth along with her academic learning. It is a vibrant community where girls are encouraged to become fully involved in the life of the College. We share and celebrate the gifts and talents of all members of our community.

Founded in 1981 on Mercy tradition, the College was inspired by St John Fisher, a Chancellor of Cambridge University who was known for his academic passion and social justice work. Our Catholic values underpin all we do; girls are taught values such as faith, kindness, honesty and compassion, that last a lifetime.

It’s not just a 7-12 education; we offer an education for life.
St John Fisher College is a Catholic College that demands the best of your daughter and of the teachers in all pursuits. We boldly ask your daughter to go far and do her best, to see more and question every possibility, and to reach further and pursue her dreams.

We believe that your daughter’s education should not only provide her with a ranking when she graduates. It should be an education that prepares her to walk gently in an increasingly complex world. A Catholic education creates a life of purpose, kindness, honesty and compassion.

The College boasts 15 hectares of land, new look facilities and a forward thinking curriculum that promotes academic rigour. Here you will find a community of supportive and passionate parents, teachers and staff whose common goal is to guide, foster, inspire, enrich and develop our girls. Engaging with our community is central to who we are and we welcome the involvement of parents. Annual highlights that exemplify our warm parent community include Mother’s Day Garden Party and Father’s Day breakfast where the students pay homage to the people who have given them these opportunities.

Principal led tours are available during Terms 1-3.
