Gold Coast Libraries – various locations
Launch into Gold Coast Libraries these April school holidays with so many space themed events to choose from. There’s something for every kid with a series of FREE space events and lots of fun space activities designed for ages 2 years to 12 years.
The younger kids can be entertained and watch story-time from outer space on the Library Facebook page and download fun at-home space activities. Older children can immerse themselves into a galaxy of all things space, by booking into one of the many space themed events. Or they may choose to check out one of the books from the expansive space-themed library collection, either from a library or via the eLibrary. There are also Astronomy experiences delivered by NASA Educator Noeleen Lowndes, not to mention an interactive workshop in partnership with BOP Industries.
