Over two huge nights, Surfers Paradise will become a playground of light, music and entertainment with Australia’s only international fireworks competition, SeaFire.
Setting off world-class pyrotechnic displays from ocean barges, and choreographed to musical soundtracks, teams from the USA, South Korea and New Zealand will compete in the Challenger Final on Friday night. Saturday night will see the successful team contest the 2018 winner, Team Philippines, for the SeaFire championship. The event will finish with a bang as SkyLighter, Australia’s leading pyrotechnics team, light up the sky with an Australian exhibition piece.

Thrilling aerial spectacles will spark each night’s entertainment – stuntmen and skydivers decked in the brightest and loudest fireworks will fall from the sky, while jet skis will cut through the whitewash below, leaving a trail of light in their wake. Cavill Mall will be alive with multicultural acts and the award-winning Beachfront Markets will be operating both nights from 4pm – 9pm.
