There's plenty of festive events happening across the region this year to get that Christmas spirit sparkling.
Can you believe it? Christmas is almost here! The elves and I are busy packing the sleigh for my big visit to Hyperdome. We’re having a special morning tea on Saturday, 18 November for all my Kids Club friends and would love if you could join us.
There’ll be delicious goodies, magicians, balloon artists and more. And I’ll be there to say hello before I join the Christmas parade through the Centre.

Join Brisbane’s Lord Mayor Graham Quirk, Santa and special guests in King George Square and welcome the festive season with the much-loved tradition of the lighting the Brisbane City Christmas Tree, Queensland’s largest solar-powered Christmas tree. Soak up the festive cheer with a host of Christmas carols on the night and a special Christmas performance. The tree will light up The City sky every night until Christmas Eve, so make sure you visit King George Square to enjoy the beautiful sight!

Bring your Kids along to Greenbank Fire Station for their annual Greenbank Christmas Extravaganza.
As with previous years, the Christmas extravaganzas is always a massive night full of festive fun for the whole family, but this year will be bigger and better than ever with a family friendly movie to our night after the massive fireworks.
Best bit is everyone gets to spend a wonderful night with your local firefighters, as well as police, SES, ambulance and local emergency services.

Celebrate Santa’s Arrival at MarketPlace Warner Shopping Centre on Saturday, 2 December, 10am to 2pm.
The Christmas Parade starts at 10am. See Santa, Mrs Claus and all your favourite Christmas Characters including Nickelodeon’s Sponge Bob Square Pants and Patrick, Papa Smurf and Smurfette. Plus see Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Gingerbread Man, Frosty the Snowman, Santa’s Elves, Christmas Carollers, Snowflakes and Angels throughout the Centre.

Come and explore the magic of the Enchanted Garden at Roma Street Parkland this Christmas.
As the sun goes down and the evening settles in, Roma Street Parkland’s Enchanted Garden springs to life. Locaed in the Spectacle Garden, the enchanted Garden will be adorned with twinkling lights, beguiling decorations and mellow music. Wander through, enjoying a festive feast for the senses. Bookings are not required.
The Enchanted Garden is part of Brisbane's free Christmas program.

This year, Brisbane’s City Hall will light up with an all-new magical light projection show. A must-do for everyone’s Christmas calendar, the Gold Lotto City Hall Lights will run every 15 minutes until midnight.
This will be The City’s most colourful and spectacular Christmas projection yet, and one for all ages to enjoy. Brisbane’s favourite family tradition returns, brimming with music and merriment. The Christmas Parade comes complete with a nativity scene, Santa and dozens of performers to entertain and delight all ages.
It is on nightly at 7pm, from 16 to 24 December, commencing at the Edward Street end of the Queen Street Mall. It will then weave its way through the city finishing at King George Square.

The Festival of Lights kicks off on Thursday, November 30 with exciting street entertainment that includes illuminated stilt walkers, a harpist and a ballerina covered in lights, late night shopping, the unveiling of Christmas window displays by local businesses and the switching on of the festive lights in the trees in Bulcock Street.
Santa will be welcomed to his Caloundra workshop by a convoy of classic cars and bikes on December 2 from 10am, with his workshop opening at The Strand (Big Screen Cinemas Centre) at 11 Bulcock Street for free photos with Santa from 11am.
Other Christmas activities will include a pet photo with Santa on Sunday, December 10 and a Christmas tree lane and kids activities, including face painting and colouring-in competitions, until Sunday, December 17.

A mix of pre-loved items including clothes, toys, books, cots and prams, a stall at Sunny Coast Baby and Kids Market is a great way to clean out your little one’s cupboards and earn some extra cash. You’ll also find beautiful handmade items, made locally.

Come and See Santa!
Santa will be making a special appearance at the Ginger Factory from the 6th of December until Sunday 24th, every Wednesday to Sunday from 9.30am until 1.30pm.
