Brisbane’s favourite free fitness series, the Medibank Feel Good Program has returned to South Bank Parklands and Queens Gardens with an array of classes perfect to get mums (and dads!) in shape and feeling great, for free!
Running until November 30, the program will deliver 15 free work-outs per week, from early morning to evening classes across the lush green locations. Incorporated into the program are a range of work out styles and classes to suit all preferences, ranging from low impact to high intensity- ensuring all fitness levels are catered for.
While all the usual suspects; yoga, tai chi, Zumba, pilates and bootcamp will be offered, Series 2 will also offer barre for core strength, an aqua class held in South Bank’s Boat Pool and a class just for parents and bubs – with a workout that you can do with your baby.
All fitness sessions will be held and taught by qualified instructors from Goodlife Health Clubs and for your half- time Series 2 motivation, esteemed fitness trainer Michelle Bridges will host a free class on November 2.
New to the program this year are ‘Wellness Talks’, which will be held fortnightly on Saturday mornings at Flowstate, South Bank Parklands. Hosted by certified practitioners and industry leaders; Leanne Ward, Cass Dunn and Soul Space will share their insights, knowledge and tips on all things health.
All class participants are advised to bring their own water bottle and towel to classes, along with a workout mat if available and required.
