Come and join us in the wild for our Wildlings Summer Holiday Workshops! Based entirely outdoors on the banks of the idyllic Petrie Creek, our holiday workshops encourage children to get off the screens and back outdoors into nature.
From building rafts and sailing them down the creek and whittling primitive weapons with pen knives, to eco-dyeing and making your own crystal dream catcher; adventures with ropes and basket making to building our own cubby town and making Kokedama balls to take home; we have something for the adventurous, something for the arty, something for the builders and something for the fun-lovers.
Bring your creativity, bring your ingenuity, bring your imagination and bring your sense of adventure as we explore, run, climb, jump, build, create and get wet in the creek. Children have (fully supervised) access to our tool box, including bow saws, hand saws, pen knives, hammers, hand drills, wood planes, ropes and much more to create any project their imagination desires.
This is a drop-off program for children aged 7 years and up. Children under 7 years are welcome to join with an accompanying guardian.
Workshops sell out fast, so book early to avoid disappointment.
Open: Monday, December 17th 2018 to Friday, January 25th 2019.
Please note that we are closed the week of Christmas/New Year.
