Paper Plate Sun Catchers

24 June 2015

There are so many crafts you can do with paper plates and this one is one of my favourites. You can get as creative as you like with these paper plate sun catchers.

What you'll Need

  • Paper plates (opt for the non-coated ones because they're better to draw on)

  • Clear contact paper

  • Feathers/sequins/stickers

  • Pens

  • Scissors

  • Hole punch

  • Ribbon

  1. Cut out the center of the paper plate.

  2. Cut out some clear contact in the shape of a circle, making it a little larger than the plate opening so the contact can be stuck to the back of the plate .

  3. Stick the contact to the back of the plate.

  4. Punch a hole in the top of the plate and thread the ribbon through. Form a loop and tie a knot.

  5. Start decorating!
