The holidays are over but that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. Take the kids to one of our region’s best theme parks for a day of dipping, whizzing, spinning and happy families guaranteed.

Aussie World

73 Frizzo Road, Bruce Highway, Palmview

Test your nerve on the Redback and Dark Rebel, cool off on a hot day on awesome water ride The Plunge, and entertain the younger members of the family on the Tin Lids Tea Cups, Giggle Go Round and Bizzy Buggies. And the fun doesn’t stop there. With so much to see and do, you’ll want to come back again and again!

Dreamworld

Pacific Highway, Coomera

Dreamworld is Australia’s biggest theme park so you know they’ll be something for everyone here. From the ‘Big 9’ thrill rides, to Tiger Island to meet and greets with the kids’ favourite DreamWorks heroes and ABC KIDS characters. Also don’t miss the world’s first Hot Wheels themed rollercoaster and the world’s largest collection of Peter Brock racing cars. You can also cool down with a visit to WhiteWater World, Dreamworld’s interconnecting water park.

Movie World

Pacific Motorway, Gold Coast

Movie World – where movies come to life. Enjoy an awesome mix of spectacular shows, including the Looney Tunes Star Parade, where you can cheer your favourite characters as they march down the main street, adrenaline pumping thrill rides, such as the Green Lantern Coaster and Scooby-doo Spooky Coaster, and loads of attractions for the little ones, like the Road Runner Rollercoaster in the Kids’ WB! Fun Zone!

Wet’n’Wild

Pacific Motorway, Oxenford

The best attraction for a glorious sunny day. Chill out in the Giant Wave Pool after the kids have explored the Junior Zone, with its kid-friendly water slides, wading pools and tipping bucket. If you have the energy for a few more thrills and spills, head over to the Extreme H20 Zone and dare to ride the Blackhole or Kamikaze with its near vertical 11 metre drop. I’ll be looking after the bags in my private cabana ;-)

Top Shots

2 Allora Drive, Maroochydore

Climb it, play it, splash it and hit it at Top Shots! There’s so much to do for all the family. Choose from racing your friends up the Indoor Rock Climbing Wall, trying your hand at the 18 hole mini golf course, taking on the Extreme Vertical Trampoline, or having fun on the  the Blaster Boats and inflatable Blue Crush Waterslide.

Sea World

Sea World Dr, Main Beach

It’s not often you get to please everyone all in one day, but Seaworld makes it easy – it’s a great day out for animal lovers and thrill seekers alike. The animal-mad in the family will delight at the polar bears, penguins and sharks, while those who enjoy adrenaline-inducing rides will be quite happy on the Storm Coaster. After the younger ones have had their fill of the kids’ rides in Beach Break Bay, enjoy one of the awesome performances, such as Jet Stunt Extreme or the dolphin show.
