DESCRIPTION:The Rotary Club of Caloundra is presents The Big Dig\, a pirate-themed family fun day at Bulcock Beach planned for Sunday 6 September 2026 from 9am to 12pm. \nFather’s Day provides a special opportunity to celebrate the important role fathers\, grandfathers and father figures play in our lives. \nThe Big Dig has been created as a fun\, active and memorable experience where children and grandchildren can spend quality time with their dads and granddads while sharing in the excitement of a beachside treasure hunt. Participants are encouraged to dress as pirates. \nA designated digging area will be available where participants will search for hidden treasure tokens buried in the sand. Every discovery brings excitement\, and best of all\, every participant will receive a prize. \nFunds raised through the event will be distributed by the Rotary Club of Caloundra to support local charities\, community groups and not-for-profit organisations across the Sunshine Coast. \nFIND OUT MORE
