DESCRIPTION:The free event will feature stage entertainment by first nations artists\, traditional smoking ceremony\, cultural demonstrations\, information and market stalls\, weaving workshops\, kids’ activities and giveaways. \nBring your chairs or picnic blankets and settle in on the lawn to enjoy local performances by first nations artists including the Joe Geia band\, Rochelle Pitt\, Ben Barker\, Maibre Grenfell\, Yulu Burri Ba Cultural Performers\, plus more. \nSee Notorious Ship \nNotorious\, a full size\, full wooden\, sailing ship\, the Caravelle\, is Opening for Public Inspection.  All little (and the not so little) pirates welcome to explore onboard and below deck.  Marvel at the timber\, the design\, the build and the reality of this full wooden ship\, with over 26000 NM under her hull since her launch in 2011.  Notorious is the only ship representing the 15th century sailing in the Southern Hemisphere\, Australia’s only lateen rigged ship\, and an awesome pirate ship. \nFIND OUT MORE
