DESCRIPTION:Usher in the new year with a kaleidoscope of colour at The Lord Mayor’s New Year’s Eve Fireworks. \nHeld at South Bank Parklands the evening features two free fireworks shows\, 7:45pm and midnight. \nThe best viewing locations are Clem Jones Promenade\, the Cultural Forecourt\, Riverside Green and River Quay. \nSouth Bank retailers will be open with takeaway food and there will be food vendors on the Cultural Forecourt. You are welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages into the Parklands. Prohibited items include metal cutlery and other sharp items\, drink bottles and unsealed lids (including bottles of water or soft drink)\, scooters\, bikes\, pets\, glass\, marquees and any large portable structures. \nSouth Bank Parklands will be an alcohol-free site on the day.
