‘Tis the season for twinkling lights and festive fun! Each year, the Sunshine Coast transforms into a magical wonderland of Christmas lights – and 2025 is no exception.
From spectacular trees decorated with shimmering ornaments to houses lit up with dazzling displays, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Sunshine Coast Council will have trees and lights set up across the Sunshine Coast. We have listed all their locations below.
We have also listed all the residential houses on the Sunshine Coast with Christmas lights, so you can head out with the kids for a fun evening of lights and festivities… all for free!

Sunshine Coast Council Christmas Tree Locations
Sunshine Coast Council has adorned 26 trees across the region with eco-friendly LED lights and colourful decorations, creating a cheerful glow in local parks and streets.
Whether you stroll beneath the glowing branches in Caloundra, picnic under the twinkling lights in Montville or cruise past the dazzling display in Alexandra Headland, there’s a festive stop near you to explore this holiday season.
