This winter, The Ginger Factory is the place to be for families looking for fun, adventure, and a little touch of magic. Across two themed weeks, the park will be bursting with hands-on experiences and unforgettable moments for kids of all ages.
From 30 June to 5 July, the barn will come alive with barnyard charm during Old MacDonald’s Petting Zoo. This free, family-friendly experience invites children to meet and interact with a range of gentle farm animals. From fluffy lambs to cheeky goats the little ones will love getting up close with their favourite furry and feathered
friends in a safe, relaxed setting.
Then, from 7 to 12 July, it’s time to swap gumboots for shining armour as The Ginger Factory transforms into a land of medieval mischief for Knight School. Young squires and aspiring heroes will be invited to train in the ancient arts of knighthood through playful activities and interactive experiences. They’ll learn the secrets of chivalry, practise their knightly stance, and take part in fun medieval-themed games. It’s the perfect blend of imagination and adventure, designed to spark creativity and encourage bravery.
Beyond the holiday activities, The Ginger Factory is packed with year-round family fun. Ride Moreton the Ginger Train, explore the Overboard Boat Ride, or let kids enjoy the free Little Explorers soft play area.
With delicious food, boutique shopping, and stunning subtropical gardens, there’s something for everyone.
