In addition to permanent displays, the museum regularly hosts special exhibitions. Their current exhibition Making Waves is a celebration of Australians who have achieved extraordinary maritime feats. This exhibit will feature stories of Jessica Watson, Australian adventurers who rowed across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, and a sailor who circumnavigated Australia.
