Host Ranger Stacey will welcome you under the shade of the trees as you settle in for the official Opening Ceremony followed by an interactive Q&A session with ABC Gardening Australia presenter Clarence Slockee. Clarence is from the Bundjalung Nation from north coast NSW and is the Education Officer at the Sydney Botanic Gardens, where his work involves promoting Aboriginal culture, native landscaping and bush tucker which he will share at a separate workshop.
Classically trained dancer and Gubbi Gubbi / Ugarapul woman, Soraya Fewquandie-Scott will perform three engaging dances throughout the day. Black Cockatoo, Footsteps and Yirimi Gundir.
Wander through the Botanic Garden lane to explore unique eco markets and their suitcase rummage within the beautiful native botanic garden surrounds at IndigiScapes!
