In the winter holidays, Noosa and Sunshine Coast’s tech-loving kids and teens are in for a HUGE two weeks of learning, creating, inventing and having fun with the latest technologies.
Peregian Digital Hub’s holiday workshops are taught by some of the region’s most talented young technologists and digital creatives (Hub Cadets – teenagers and young adults).
Their winter holiday program is packed with new workshops, as well as favourites.
– LEGO Spike Prime Robotics – younger kids,
– Beginners 3D Modelling for Minecraft (Blockbench) – beginners and intermediate courses,
– Learn Computer Science using Minecraft Redstone,
– Software Programming Basics (Python, Java, Rust),
– iOS App Development with Cursor (AI-assisted coding),
– Digital Art for iPad (Procreate – beginners & intermediate courses),
– Make and race your own 3D printed, wind-up car!
– Build your own 4-wheeled wireless robot!,
– Make a Video Game Soundtrack – younger kids (Bandlab),
– Electronic Music Production – older kids (Bandlab),
– Create an interactive story using Scratch, and
– Make your own Visual Special Effects short film!
Suitable for children aged 7-17 years.
