No more checkout anxiety! ALDI home delivery rolls out in Queensland

Busy parents, rejoice – the supermarket shuffle just got a whole lot easier. ALDI home delivery launches in Queensland, delivering all your ALDI favourites straight to your door.

It’s the first time the discount supermarket has offered this level of convenience, with everything from fresh fruit and veg, meat, seafood, dairy, and bread to household essentials now just a few taps away on the DoorDash app.

Jordan Lack, Chief Commercial Officer at ALDI Australia, said launching ALDI home delivery is all about making life easier for Aussie families.

“Since entering the Australian market, ALDI’s mission has been to deliver high-quality groceries at the lowest prices for Australian households – and now we can literally deliver on this mission directly to Aussies’ doorsteps,” Mr Lack said. “We’re thrilled that customers will be able to shop with ALDI from the comfort of their homes, bringing our ‘Good Different’ shopping experience to more and more people in the tap of an app,” said Mr Lack.

Simply download the DoorDash app (or head to www.doordash.com.au), search for ‘ALDI’, add your favourite items to your cart, and choose on-demand or scheduled delivery. A DoorDash driver – known as a ‘Dasher’ – will pick, pack and deliver your order straight to your front door.

For time-poor parents, it’s a game-changer. No wrestling with car seats, no chasing kids down the ‘specials’ aisle, and no impulse buys from tiny trolley drivers.

DoorDash’s Vice President for APAC, Simon Rossi, said the partnership is all about combining value with convenience.

“We know that value and convenience are top priorities for Australians, and this partnership is about continuing DoorDash’s mission to combine the best of both worlds,” Mr Rossi said. “With ALDI’s trusted quality and DoorDash’s on-demand delivery technology, we’re making everyday essentials easier to access than ever before.”

The service is rolling out across Australia, with availability depending on whether you live within the service area of an ALDI store.
