Summer School Holidays at Queensland Maritime Museum
Visit one of Australia’s largest maritime museums and discover historic vessels of all shapes and sizes.
The Queensland Maritime Museum is a great place to visit for the whole family. Kids especially enjoy exploring their BIG exhibits such as the warship Diamantina and the lugger Penguin.
In addition to permanent displays, the museum regularly hosts special exhibitions. Their current exhibition Cruising, the Australian Dream captures both the allure of cruising and how cruising has changed and grown over the years. With stories, photos and artefacts from the Museum’s and private collections, this exhibition is bound to attract wide interest.

It is open Wednesday through Sunday (excluding public holidays) from 10am to 4:15pm, with the last entry at 3:15pm.
