Sono Lumo: A World Of Sound, Light & Imagination
This December, step through a portal to Sono Lumo, a fantastical world of light and sound that will transform the entire Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct.
With three epic shows each night, you’ll disappear into a hypnotic world of dazzling light, pulsating sound and imagination, featuring music, live entertainment, curated bars and food trucks and surprises at every turn. And it’s free for everyone.
Set to an original soundtrack by iconic Brisbane musician and ‘human sound machine’ Tom Thum, three hero light shows each night will light up the facade of The Star Brisbane, featuring fireworks, video animation and even snow. As the voice of the machine, Tom Thum conjures an otherworldly soundscape, becoming the Spirit Engine itself and layering in a vibrant, playful and epic Christmas track that incorporates festive hits in unexpected ways.
Tom Thum will perform live on opening night, Wednesday 10 December.
