Sands Tavern Locals Weekend
Sands Tavern is celebrating its return with a Locals Weekend from Friday 1 May to Monday 4 May, inviting families and locals to come together and enjoy the refreshed venue.
After a recent facelift, the local favourite is back with a revamped bistro and sports bar, plus exciting new additions including a spacious beer garden, half basketball court, and kids playground – making it the perfect spot for parents to relax while the kids play.
Friday kicks things off with Tradie Club specials and live music from 4–7pm, the ideal way to ease into the weekend.
Saturday keeps the fun going with live music from 3–7pm, great food, family-friendly dining, and plenty happening across the venue.
Sunday is set to be a highlight for families, with a K-pop Singalong plus meet-and-greet and fun activities between shows from 12–3pm. Parents can settle in for lunch while the kids enjoy all the entertainment, with live music continuing from 3–7pm.
Monday rounds out the long weekend with face painting and balloon twisting from 12–2pm, giving families one more reason to head in and enjoy the celebrations.
Across the four days, guests can expect live music, live sport on the big screens, games, giveaways, delicious food and drinks, and entertainment for all ages.
With something for everyone – especially families – Locals Weekend is the perfect chance to gather with friends, bring the kids, and celebrate the return of Sands Tavern.
