Little Sparks
Back by popular demand, Queensland Museum’s SparkLab is turning the spotlight to the littlest scientists again for a limited time only!
Designed for curious 3–5 year olds, children and their carers are invited to explore science through play, hands-on discovery, and age-appropriate activities.
Take your time exploring SparkLab’s interactive exhibits with your little ones, discover something new at the Science Bar, or explore the wonders of earth and space at our Science on a Sphere.
With gentle experiments, sensory exploration, and plenty of space to imagine, spark their curiosity in a fun and welcoming environment, Little Sparks is a perfect opportunity for families with under 5s to start their journey with SparkLab and Queensland Museum.
13 – 18 July and 6 – 10 October 2026
9:30am, 10am, 10:30am, 11am
Throughout the morning, families are welcome to explore the Maker Space, general exhibits and a range of additional activities at their own pace.
