Brisbane Winter School Holiday Activities
Brisbane Council’s holiday program is back, giving families hundreds of affordable and free school holiday activities to keep kids active, creative and entertained throughout the winter break.
From local libraries and neighbourhood parks to community venues and Brisbane City Hall, more than 400 activities will be happening right across the city, helping families make the most of Brisbane’s beautiful winter weather.
Across the suburbs, Brisbane’s 33 libraries will host more than 150 events, including STEM challenges, craft workshops, storytelling sessions, live performances, NAIDOC Week activities and creative experiences for kids and teens.
The much-loved Gold Star and Little Stars Reading Clubs will also return, having inspired more than 130,000 Brisbane children to discover the joy of reading since the program began.
For families looking to get outdoors and stay active, more than 120 free Active and Healthy sessions will be held across the city.
