Book Launch: How to Build a Better Brother
Join in all the fun at Caloundra Library on Saturday 4 July 2026 as Children’s Author, Michel Deverall launches her new picture Book How to Build a Better Brother. There will be raffle prizes up for grabs and the chance to win your very own copy of How to Build a Better Brother. Kids can also enjoy a Build Your Own Robot craft activity.
How to Build a Better Brother: “I’m building a robot to replace my brother. My real one is boring, I’d rather another.”
When a fun-loving four-year-old decides to build a robot to replace his little brother, nothing could prepare him for the chaos that follows. Unfortunately, his robot’s idea of fun is way more than he can handle. After a hair-raising week of skydiving, skiing down treacherous mountain slopes, and swimming with a school of hungry sharks, he soon realises his little brother isn’t so boring after all.
A hilarious, rhyming adventure story about sibling relationships, appreciating what you have, and why you should probably think twice before building yourself a new brother.
