Paradise Resort Gold Coast is set to debut an electrifying new live entertainment experience this September with the launch of Rock on Ice, a high-energy ice-skating spectacular that combines world-class figure skating, breathtaking aerial acrobatics and the greatest rock anthems of all time into one unforgettable family show.

Premiering on Friday 18 September 2026 inside the resort’s Planet Chill Ice-Skating Rink, Rock on Ice is an original 45-minute production that takes audiences on a thrilling journey through the history of rock music. From the birth of rock and roll in the 1950s through to today’s biggest rock anthems, each era comes alive with powerful skating, dramatic choreography, spectacular lighting, theatrical costumes and gravity-defying aerial performances.

The show will run from September through January, with performance dates announced on the resort’s website.
Created and directed by the resort’s Entertainment Manager Vinnie Borges, and choreographed by Danielle Spencer, the production transforms the ice into a live rock arena, delivering an immersive entertainment experience unlike anything else currently available on the Gold Coast.
